We spent the evening in these neat little cabins in Talkeetna, AK. On April 16, 2000 you can see how deep the snow is.  Notice that the handrail comes to my pocket (36"), now look at the handrail as it goes down the steps, you can see the snow is at the top of the handrail (36") plus 7" for the first step or about 40"-43" deep.  From l-r Jim and Billie Anthony, BIll and Jeni Chubick and Kevin and Cathy Anthony (my brother and sister-in-law).
